Center for Primary Care, Prevention, and Clinical Partnerships (CP3)

Extramural Program Staff and Project Officers

Extramural research is research supported by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) through a grant, contract, cooperative agreement or other funding mechanism to an external organization.

A CP3 project officer oversees the progress of an extramural grant, cooperative agreement, or contract. Project officers work closely with grants management specialists in AHRQ's Office of Performance Accountability Resources and Technology (OPART) to administer and resolve issues with AHRQ grants.
