Michigan MIChild Program

The MIChild Program is implementing a Children’s Managed Care Plan which includes:

  • Two Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) managed care plans. The plans are tailored for high-medical-needs children and will be phased in over the next 2-3 years to provide Statewide coverage to the CSHCN population.
  • Provision of CSHCS specialty services on a fee-for-service basis.
