Process Indicators of Quality Measurement

Process indicators describe a standard of care that should occur for a particular type of patient or clinical circumstance. Quality is not assessed according to adherence to all recommended steps of care for a condition/patient, rather it is assessed according to adherence to a minimum or set number of markers.
