Children's Insurance Status After Public Insurance Disenrollment

Text Description [D]: This bar chart compares the insurance status of children after they left the State Child Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) against those who left the Oregon Family Health Insurance Assistance Program (FHIAP). Of the children who left SCHIP, 67 percent were uninsured (compared with 47 percent who left FHIAP); 28 percent had employer-sponsored insurance (compared with 37 percent who had left FHIAP); 2 percent were insured in the individual market (compared with 13 percent who had left FHIAP); and 3 percent were "Other" (compared with 3 percent who had left FHIAP).
