Special Notice for ARRA DEcIDE RFTO

Developing and Strengthening Scientific Methods for Conducting Comparative Effectiveness Research


This notice is provided for informational purposes only under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.


The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) intends to issue competitive task orders against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with the Developing Evidence to Inform Decisions about Effectiveness (DEcIDE) Network.  It is anticipated that AHRQ will award 1 or 2 task orders.  The main objective of this task order is to advance and strengthen research methods for conducting scientific investigations of comparative effectiveness, particularly for research conducted as part of ARRA.  The outcome of this work will be to improve the consistency, applicability, reliability, and validity of CE research findings for informing the health care decisions of patients, providers, and policy makers.  The task order is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

This opportunity is available to 13 contractors under the DEcIDE Network multiple award contract that was previously competed and awarded in 2005.
