Center for Delivery, Organization, and Markets (CDOM): Staff Biographies
Brent Sandmeyer, MPH, is a Social Science Analyst in the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Center for Delivery, Organization and Markets (CDOM). Brent's projects focus on improving the quality of American health care through evidence-based quality measurement, public reporting, and delivery system change. The ultimate goal of this work is to help consumers choose the best health care providers, drive improvement of care quality, lower the individual and overall cost of care, and reduce disparities in care.
Brent previously worked on public reporting and quality measurement with the Oregon Healthcare Quality Corporation, an AHRQ Chartered Value Exchange. He also produced strategic planning reports on Oregon's long term care and mental health workforce for the Northwest Health Foundation. Brent received his Master of Public Health in Management and Policy from Portland State University, and his BA in Psychology from New York University.
