CHIPRA Pediatric Quality Measures Program (PQMP) Health Care Quality Measures Reviewed by SNAC in 2012

Between July and September 2012, the CHIPRA National Advisory Council on Healthcare Research and Quality Subcommittee on Quality Measures for Children's Healthcare (SNAC) reviewed 63 health care quality measures for potential inclusion as Improved Core Measures for voluntary use by Medicaid and CHIP and for other CHIPRA purposes (potential use by other public and private programs, plans, providers, and consumers). Twenty-seven additional measures (not listed) were nominated by the public but not reviewed because insufficient information was provided.

Fifty of the reviewed measures were nominated by the public in response to a public call for measures, and 13 measures were submitted for SNAC review by the CHIPRA PQMP Centers of Excellence. The 63 measures reviewed by SNAC are listed below.
