Timeline to January 1 Posting for Public Comment

Slide depicts a timeline for the year 2009. Between January and April, the law is passed, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)-AHRQ partnership developed. In July, the first Subcommittee meeting is held. The second Subcommittee meeting will be held in September. The first full draft of the initial core set for Federal review will be released in October. The revised draft will be submitted to the Secretary in November and revisions, in needed, will be made in December. The final posting will be on December 24.
