  • Led by Dr. Peter Pronovost, JHU [Johns Hopkins University], in conjunction with Michigan Hospital Association & Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
  • Enormously successful in reducing CR-BSI [catheter-related bloodstream infection] in Michigan ICUs [intensive care units].
  • Based on streamlining CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] protocols, addressing teamwork/human factors, and fostering a culture of safety.
