National Steering Committee for Patient Safety
AHRQ is co-leading the National Steering Committee for Patient Safety, which includes members from two dozen organizations that are joining together to create a national action plan to accelerate progress in reducing patient harm. Committee members represent health care, policy, regulatory, and advocacy communities.
The National Steering Committee for Patient Safety is co-chaired by Jeffrey Brady, M.D., director of AHRQ’s Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and Tejal Gandhi, M.D., M.P.H., CPPS, Senior Fellow, Institute for Healthcare Improvement; and Chief Safety and Transformation Officer, Press Ganey Associates.
