TeamSTEPPS Long-Term Care Instructor Guide:
The Long-Term Care version of TeamSTEPPS adapts the core concepts of the TeamSTEPPS program to reflect the environment of nursing homes and other other long-term care settings such as assisted living and continuing care retirement communities. The examples, discussions, and exercises below are tailored to the long-term care environment.

Several organizations have collaborated to design, pilot, and further refine TeamSTEPPS to make it available for long-term care facilities. Many individuals contributed a great deal of their time and expertise to the development of the TeamSTEPPS Long-Term Care Instructor Guide and its accompanying materials by modifying the content and tools to fit the needs of long-term care facilities.
