Diabetes prevalence rates range between 3 and 5 for most states, and West Virginia is around 7. Poverty rates range between a low of 8 for Wisconsin and a high of 20 for West Virginia, with most states between 10 and 15. Kentucky and Texas are around 16. Obesity rates range between a low of 14 for Colorado and a high of 23 for Texas and West Virginia. Hawaii and Massachusetts are also in the teens and the remaining states are between 20 and 23. Admissions vary greatly, as follows: Arizona, 12, Colorado, 9, Georgia, 36, Hawaii, 9, Iowa, 17, Kentucky, 42, Maine, 13, Massachusetts, 12, Michigan, 19, Missouri, 25, Texas, 31, Washington, 8, West Virginia, 42, Wisconsin, 18.
