The range is about 60-345 per 100,000 population. The Northeast has the widest variation. The West has the smallest variation.

Hospital admissions for adult asthma, age 18-64: The best-in-class average is about 40 per 100,000. The national average is around 100 per 100,000. The range is around 45-155 per 100,000 population. The Northeast has the widest variation. The South has the smallest variation.

Hospital admissions for adult asthma, age 65 and older: The best-in-class average is about 120 per 100,000 population. The national average is about 220 per 100,000 population. The range is about 115-350 per 100,000 population. The Northeast has the widest variation. The West has the smallest variation.
