The variables on the horizontal axis are: Black vs. White (n = 17), Asian vs. White (n = 17), American Indian or Alaska Native (AI/AN) vs. White (n = 17), Hispanic vs Non-Hispanic White (n = 17), and Poor vs High Income (n = 20), where n is the number of core measures. The vertical axis shows percentage of core measures improving, staying the same, or worsening.

The approximate percentage for each variable is as follows:

Black vs. White (n = 17): worsening—18% (3), same—64% (11), improving—18% (3).
Asian vs. White (n = 17): worsening—35% (6), same—47% (8), improving—18% (3).
AI/AN vs. White (n = 17): worsening—29% (5), same—42% (7), improving—29% (5).
Hispanic vs. Non-Hispanic White (n = 17): worsening—18% (3), same—53% (9), improving—29% (5).
Poor vs. High Income (n = 20): worsening—40% (8), same—25% (5), improving—35% (7).
