Comments

Rates are age-adjusted to the 2000 standard population. Age-adjusted rates are weighted sums of age-specific rates. Resident death data are based on information from death certificates filed in the 50 States and the District of Columbia.

HIV patients with CD4 counts less than 200 who received pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (PCP) prophylaxis. New AIDS cases per 100,000 population (age 13 or over).
