C. E-Mail CapabilitySome consumers will want to share data with family or friends or send an excerpt of the report to themselves for their personal file. This can be done either by permitting outgoing E-mails that link to a particular Web page or by allowing the selected data to be forwarded. Report sponsors pursuing the latter are encouraged to test this function to ensure that the graphics display properly and that the user can select only the performance measures he or she wants to share. The following site allows the user to send an E-mail, but the E-mail can include only the link to the site, not any data. Tool: Minnesota HealthScores Sponsor: Minnesota Community Measurement URL: http://www.mnhealthscores.org/?p=our_reports&sf=clinic&search_phrase=&category=16&name_id=&compare
The site below allows selected performance data to be included in an E-mail. Tool: CHECKPoint Sponsor: Wisconsin Hospital Association
