Figure 3: Example of an Antibiotic Dispensing Clinic Plan (Text Description)

Figure 3 illustrates a patient flow plan for an antibiotic dispensing clinic. The plan starts with "Entry Screening and Form Distribution." Patients are referred to either "Medical Evaluation" or "Triage."

From "Triage," patients proceed to either "Medical Evaluation," "Crisis Counseling," or "Patient Briefing."

From "Medical Evaluation," patients proceed either to "Patient Briefing" or to "Transport Assistance" then to the "Hospital."

From "Crisis Counseling," patients proceed to "Patient Briefing."

From "Patient Briefing," all patients go to "Drug Triage" then either to "Express Drug Dispensing" or "Pharmacist-assisted Drug Dispensing."

From both those sites, all patients go to "Form Collection and Exit Education," then exit the clinic.
