77 percent of sampled adults would want cardiopulmonary resescitation if in a state of current health; 15 percent of sampled adults would want cardiopulmonary resescitation if in a state of permanent coma; 40 percent of sampled adults would want cardiopulmonary resescitation if in a state of dementia; 35 percent of sampled adults would want cardiopulmonary resescitation if in a state of severe stroke; 37 percent of sampled adults would want cardiopulmonary resescitation if in a state of severe pain.
