Value Case Studies by Year Impact Case Studies and Knowledge Transfer Case StudiesThe goal of the value portfolio is to help assure that consumers and patients are served by health care organizations that reduce unnecessary costs (waste) while maintaining or improving quality. This is done by developing measures, data, evidence, tools, and strategies that health care organizations, systems, insurers, purchasers, and policymakers use to reduce unnecessary costs while maintaining or improving quality. Strategies include process redesign, leadership and management strategies, organizational and community-wide quality improvement initiatives, legal and regulatory changes, consumer choice, public reporting, incentives, and payment changes. Also, the portfolio conducts and supports methodological work and modeling to improve data and research, and to facilitate its use for policy and management. 2012Arkansas Department of Health Launches Public Health Care Reporting Web Site After Participating in MONAHRQ® Learning NetworkMaine Health Data Organization Launches Public Health Care Reporting Web Site After Participating in MONAHRQ® Learning NetworkUtah Department of Health Uses MONAHRQ® to Create Online Report2011State of AlabamaThe Hospital Quality AllianceWashington State MedicaidHawaii Department of Human ServicesMissouri Department of Health and Senior ServicesThe Scottish Government2010State of OregonWyoming Department of HealthMilliman, Inc.New York Quality AllianceVirginia Health InformationJohns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public HealthIowa Healthcare CollaborativePennsylvania Department of Public WelfareImperial College LondonInstitute for Health Economics and PolicyState of Maine; State of TennesseeState of ConnecticutState of OregonState of Maine2009Suburban HospitalChildren's Hospital of PhiladelphiaDavid Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)Rollins School of Public Health, Emory UniversityNorth Carolina Division of Medical AssistanceState of Kentucky—Cabinet for Health and Family ServicesNew York City Center for Economic OpportunityCalifornia Department of Public HealthState of MarylandNew York State Department of HealthState of KansasIowa Medicaid EnterpriseNew York State Department of HealthState of Tennessee2008Health Resources and Services AdministrationCongressional Research ServiceMilken InstitutePublic Health ServiceIowa Healthcare CollaborativeUniversity of Iowa College of Public HealthUniversity of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer CenterHumana, Inc.Premier Inc.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention2007BIOVIRxVirginia Health InformationChildren's Hospital BostonThe Fraser InstituteDallas-Fort Worth Hospital CouncilOrganization for Economic Cooperation and DevelopmentFamilies USAMedicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC)American Association of Clinical EndocrinologistsNational Center for Health StatisticsState of AlaskaCommonwealth Fund2006CHRISTUS® Schumpert Health SystemKaiser Permanente Care Management InstituteAARPState of New HampshireWest Virginia Senate Transportation CommitteeConnecticut Office of Health Care AccessGovernment Accountability OfficeState of VermontThe Hospital & Healthsystem Association of PennsylvaniaNorth Carolina Institute of MedicineState of Vermont2005Indiana State Department of HealthMetroPlus Health PlanState of OregonPremier, Inc.Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IllinoisVHA, Inc.
