Appendix P. Chart 1. Established System Sources of Client Stress (Text Description)

Chart 1 is a bar chart illustrating the numbers of three types of clients who would seek information in the event of a bioterrorism threat or incident. The chart assumes 1,000 contacts each hour in the region with a population of 6 million. The chart shows that the "Worried Well" would be the largest group—approximately 900. Health Care Providers would be the second largest group—approximately 100. The smallest group would be the Symptomatic (those who are symptomatic or believed symptomatic)—approximately 20.
