7.5 percent of patients 65-69 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks before knee replacement surgery; 50.7 percent of patients 65-69 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks after knee replacement surgery; 6.1 percent of patients 70-74 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks before knee replacement surgery; 47.6 percent of patients 70-74 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks after knee replacement surgery; 10.5 percent of patients 75-79 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks before knee replacement surgery; 36.1 percent of patients 75-79 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks after knee replacement surgery; 14.1 percent of patients 80-84 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks before knee replacement surgery; 34.0 percent of patients 80-84 years old were able to walk more than 10 blocks after knee replacement surgery; 8.7 percent of patients 85 and over were able to walk more than 10 blocks before knee replacement surgery; and 34.6 percent of patients 85 and over were able to walk more than 10 blocks after knee replacement surgery.
