Four photographs show the development of the pustule on a vaccination site: on Day 4, there are two small, pinkish blister-like formations (papule); by Day 7, there is a large, whitish pustule; by Day 14, this pustule has begun to dry up and heal; by Day 21, a scab has formed.

Note: Figure demonstrates the progression from papule (day 4) to pustule (days 7-14) to scab (day 21).
