These HCUP Statistical Briefs provide statistics about mental health and substance abuse conditions (diagnoses) treated in U.S. hospitals. Topics include depression, drug abuse, and eating disorders.
The MEPS Insurance Component fields questionnaires to private and public sector employers to collect data on the number and types of private health insurance plans offered, benefits associated with these plans, annual premiums, annual contributions by employers and employees, eligibility requirements, and employer characteristics.
AHRQ established the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture™ (SOPS™) Databases as central repositories for survey data from each of the SOPS surveys. Healthcare organizations that administer one of the AHRQ patient safety culture surveys can voluntarily submit their data to the appropriate database.
This interactive maps provides trends in opioid-related hospitalizations between 2009-14 and hospitalizations in 2014 broken down by patient age, sex, geographic area and income. Also available at the county level for 32 states are opioid-related hospitalization discharges and rates per 100,000 population.
