TeamSTEPPS® Training for Office-Based/Ambulatory Care Teams

This evidence-based online curriculum offers instruction on how to establish effective teamwork and communication among clinical and non-clinical staff in a variety of medical settings in order to improve the quality of care provided to patients. In accordance with Key Driver 4: Create and support high functioning teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based care, this curriculum teaches team-based structured communication techniques to improve patient safety. The curriculum also addresses Key Driver 6: Nurture leadership and create a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice by suggesting strategies for team leadership. The training can be taken online or delivered classroom style. The curriculum includes all materials needed to deliver classroom training, including slides, instructors’ guides, training videos, and handouts.
