Annals of Family Medicine Journal Supplement
The EvidenceNOW initiative has released a special Annals of Family Medicine journal supplement.
The supplement showcases early findings from EvidenceNOW on developing the capacity of primary care to improve evidence-based practice. Papers in the supplement report on different characteristics of primary care practices and outcome measures before the practices received external quality improvement support from EvidenceNOW cooperatives. Contributors to this supplement highlight issues crucial to primary care transformation—from the state of heart health care in small practices, to clinician and staff burnout and practices’ ability to deal with a changing health care environment. Other papers in the supplement address topics in practice recruitment, community engagement, and balancing quality improvement implementation and research.
