SHARE Approach Workshop

SHARE Approach: Workshop

The SHARE Approach Workshop curriculum was developed by AHRQ to support the training of health care professionals on how to engage patients in their health care decisionmaking. The curriculum is made up of an Introduction, four content modules, and a module with training tips.

For each module, AHRQ provides a facilitator’s guide and slides—all ready to download, print, and use.

Facilitator guides include a handy preparation checklist with materials needed and tasks to do before training on each module. The guides also outline the learning objectives and provide detailed instruction for assembling materials for participants. The step-by-step presentation script makes it easy for trainers to facilitate discussions and activities.

These Training Guides and PowerPoint slides are to be used in conjunction with the SHARE Approach curriculum tools.

To assess your readiness for the use of the SHARE Approach Workshop Curriculum select AHRQ’s About the SHARE Approach Workshop page.
