Now Available: AHRQ’s 2024 Surveys on Patient Safety Culture® Medical Office Database Report
Results from AHRQ’s 2024 Surveys on Patient Safety Culture® (SOPS®) Medical Office Survey User Database Report are now available. The report presents survey results from 1,164 medical offices and 15,449 respondents.
The report shows that while medical office patient safety culture scores generally improved over time from 2012 to 2020, scores decreased after the COVID-19 pandemic. In the 2024 results, several patient safety culture measures continued to decline:
- Overall Perceptions of Patient Safety and Quality.
- Leadership Support for Patient Safety.
- Work Pressure and Pace.
