Features Added: Patient Care Surveys
AHRQ has supplemented its Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) surveys to ask about patients' experiences with health literacy and interpreter services.
The CAHPS Health Literacy Item Sets ask patients about communication with providers and about self-management of diseases and conditions, medications, tests, and test results. The Interpreter Services items ask about patients' experiences with interpreter services in health care settings. The new additions are available for the CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey and the CAHPS Health Plan Survey.
