New Funding Opportunity: Screening and Management of Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Primary Care
An AHRQ funding opportunity is available for increasing the dissemination and implementation of patient-centered outcomes research findings in primary care practices to identify and manage patients' unhealthy alcohol use.
Grant applicants must propose a comprehensive plan to improve the identification and management of unhealthy alcohol use among adults that includes screening, intervention, and medication-assisted therapy.
Applications will be accepted beginning Dec. 4 and are due Jan. 4, 2019. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of intent.
A technical assistance call on Oct. 24 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. will provide a summary of the initiative and answer questions.
