May 15: Nominations Due for U.S. Preventive Services Task Force

AHRQ seeks nominations to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. The Task Force works to improve the health of all Americans by making evidence-based recommendations about clinical preventive services, such as screenings, counseling services, and preventive medications.

Each year, AHRQ's Director appoints new members to serve 4-year terms and replace those who are completing their service. Qualified candidates must demonstrate expertise and national leadership in clinical preventive services, critical evaluation of research, and implementation of evidence-based recommendations in clinical practice.

Nominations must be received by May 15 to be considered for appointment. Anticipated start for terms is January 2020.
