Health IT Patient Safety Supplemental Items for Hospital SOPS
The SOPS® Health Information Technology (Health IT) Patient Safety Supplemental Items for the Hospital Survey are designed to be used in conjunction with the core Hospital SOPS. The item set can help hospitals assess the extent to which their culture is sensitive to how the use of health IT affects patient safety from the perspectives of providers and other staff working in their hospital. The supplemental items may be added to the Hospital Survey to assess content in areas not included in the core questionnaire.
