TeamSTEPPS for Office-Based Care Hybrid Course

The TeamSTEPPS for Office-Based Care curriculum can also be presented as a hybrid course. In this course the material is split between in-person and recorded PowerPoint slides. The purpose of this course would be primarily for a Practice Facilitator (or other master trainer) who wants to deliver the material across a large group of medical offices. It is recommended that the Practice Facilitator follow these steps:

  1. Recruit one office champion from each office.
  2. Have that office champion recruit a change team of a minimum of three (3) individuals from a multi-disciplinary background.
  3. Invite the office champions and their change team members to watch the online lessons 1-3.
  4. Have the office champions use the online course agendas and debrief worksheets to guide a discussion amongst their change teams about each lesson.
  5. Invite the office champions to a one-day in-person learning event using the classroom slides for the implementation focused modules.
