The content of the training experience is consistent with AHRQ's mission, focusing on "developing individuals interested in producing and disseminating research useful to issues facing the U.S. health care system."The predoctoral training program is broad, addressing all 8 Special Research Training Objectives identified by AHRQ, with special concentrations in translating research into practice and policy (TRIPP); patient quality; and payments, markets, and organization. The postdoctoral program focuses on TRIPP, quality improvement, and health care disparities. Our programs capitalize on 5 nationally renowned clinical departments with strong HSR components (Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry), the NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and the UR's unique Center for Community Health.Previous Section Contents Next Section Current as of October 2012 Internet Citation: University of Rochester, Rochester, New York: Institutional Training Programs.
