The economic case for digital interventions for eating disorders among United States college students.
This article aimed to estimate the costs, in United States (US) dollars, of a stepped care model for online prevention and treatment among US college students to inform meaningful decisions regarding resource allocation and adoption of efficient care delivery models for EDs on college campuses. A stepped care model was estimated to achieve modest cost savings compared to standard care, but these estimates need to be tested with sensitivity analyses.

Reducing eating disorder onset in a very high risk sample with significant comorbid depression: a randomized controlled trial.
The authors evaluated an online eating disorder (ED) intervention designed to reduce ED and comorbid pathology. They found that ED attitudes and behaviors improved more in the intervention group than in the control group. They concluded that an inexpensive, easily disseminated intervention might reduce ED onset among those at highest risk.

A virtual childhood obesity collaborative: satisfaction with online continuing education.
This descriptive study evaluated school-based health center (SBHC) providers’ satisfaction with Web based continuing education as part of a virtual childhood obesity intervention. Participation in the first two learning sessions was higher than the last two. Provider satisfaction of training modules by question type and content area was quite high. Many providers also reported plans to make changes in their practice after completing the training.

Usability and perceived usefulness of personal health records for preventive health care: a case study focusing on patients' and primary care providers' perspectives.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of a specific patient-centered information technology (Personal Health Record) in improving awareness (for the patients) and compliance with (for both patients and providers) preventive care guidelines. The results were that patients found the tailored health recommendations useful and the PHR easy to understand and use.
