AHRQ convened an interactive roundtable meeting of leaders in health systems, public health preparedness, and resiliency, facilitated by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Climate Change and Health Equity interim director. The roundtable discussion laid the groundwork for advancing work on health system resilience, along with the relationship between operational resilience and operational sustainability.
AHRQ Primer for Reducing Healthcare Carbon Emissions
To support healthcare organizations in advancing toward their decarbonization commitments, AHRQ contracted with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement to develop a primer that offers guidance on high-priority measures and strategies for healthcare organizations to reduce their carbon footprint. AHRQ Releases Independent RAND Research Study
As mandated by Congress in 2018, AHRQ commissioned the RAND Corporation to conduct an independent assessment of federally funded health services research and primary care research to identify gaps and to propose strategies for better coordination across the Federal enterprise.
