The Improving Surgical Care and Recovery (ISCR) program has enhanced recovery pathways for colorectal, gynecologic, hip and knee replacement, hip fracture, and emergency general surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and major abdominal) service lines. The two tools below emphasize questions to consider when selecting a service: (1) what are the existing barriers and facilitators and how can your team mitigate or capitalize on them for the ISCR program, and (2) which services need to improve performance the most?
