Elements of an Evaluation Plan for a Quality Report

The evaluation plan should be an integral part of your overall written plan for the project. It is critical to think in concrete terms about what questions you will want to answer and how you will address them.

When developing your evaluation plan, be sure to cover the following elements:

  • Purpose of the Evaluation.
  • Evaluation Questions.
  • Evaluation Criteria.
  • Timetable and Work Plan.
  • The Data You Will Use.
  • Data Collection Methods.
  • Data Collection Tools and Activities.
  • Data Analysis.
  • The Reporting of Evaluation Findings.
