Summary
On September 18, AHRQ’s Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) program hosted a virtual research meeting that focused on the integral role of patients and families in the development and implementation of care experience assessments and quality improvement strategies.

Dr. Susan Perez provided insight into the patient and community engagement perspective and how to hear the patient’s voice.
