Diagnostic Safety Supplemental Item Set for Medical Office SOPS

The SOPS^® Diagnostic Safety Supplemental Item Set for medical offices was designed to be used in conjunction with the core SOPS Medical Office Survey to help medical offices assess the extent to which their organization's culture supports the diagnostic process, accurate diagnoses, and communication around diagnoses. The 12 supplemental items may be added to the end of the Medical Office Survey, just before the Background Questions.

The Diagnostic Safety Supplemental Item Set was developed and pilot tested for providers and staff and asks for their opinions about their medical office's processes around diagnosis.
